Mr. Navrattan Kothari has been leading the KGK Group since 1960s, which is one of the biggest conglomerates covering the entire spectrum of mining, manufacturing and distributing the world’s finest diamonds, gemstones and jewellery. He has been guiding the entire team of the KGK Group with his valuable insights, experience and wisdom since all these years. While everybody appreciates his passion and hard work behind taking KGK Group to the heights it is on today, not many know that Mr. Navrattan Kothari is actually a philanthropist. He finds solace in doing good to the society and the underprivileged.

Contribution to Healthcare

Social service is what appeals Mr. Kothari the most. His biggest contribution to the world of healthcare is BMCHRC, the Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital & Research Centre in Jaipur. Established in 1996, the hospital is providing advanced care to all cancer patients with the latest modern treatment technology. Mr. Kothari is always keen about upgrading the services and also ensures to provide free treatment to BPL families.

Along with providing the best possible treatment, a non-profit organisation – Cancer Care is providing emotional and psychological support to all cancer patients and their families, helping them fight the disease with strength. The organisation also works to spread cancer awareness.

Mr. Kothari has immense love for children. As a result KGK’s Dreamz Foundation works to fulfil the wishes of children who are undergoing cancer treatment at BMCHRC. This helps in making them experience joy and boosting their will to fight the disease.

Contribution to Education

 An alumnus of St. Xavier’s School,Mr. Navrattan Kothari is a key supporter of SS Jain Subodh Shiksha Samiti, which has groomed thousands of students with quality education.

Other than providing academic education, Mr. Kothari has initiated diamond and gemstone training centres in his manufacturing units to train individuals for the gems and jewellery industry.

Contribution to Heritage

 Mr. Navrattan Kothari is a Jaipurite at heart and aspires to give back to his motherland. He makes continuous efforts to make Jaipur a better city along with conserving the rich heritage of this city. KGK Group’s efforts in restoring and revitalizing Jal Mahal from dust to glory are a real testimony of his passion for heritage conservation and his love for the city.
